What this site keeps, and why.

Short, because there isn't much. Last updated September 22, 2026.

What I collect

  • Newsletter and waitlists: your email address, which list you joined, and when. A name only if you give one.
  • Workshop sign-ups: your name, email, and anything optional you choose to share (organization, role, team size, a message).
  • Contact form: your name, email, optional organization, the topic and your message.
  • Endorsements: your name, email, the skill, your sentence, and optionally your role, company and a link. The email is used to send one confirmation link and to recognise a repeat; it is never shown or shared, only a one-way hash of it. To catch fake endorsements, a keyed fingerprint of your network address is kept with it — enough to tell that two endorsements came from the same place, not to tell where that is. Only I see it.
  • Profile accounts: if you claimed a profile, the same kind of fingerprint of the network you last signed in from, for the same reason.
  • Server logs: standard request records (IP address, browser, page, time), kept for security and debugging.

What I don't do

  • No analytics, tracking scripts, heatmaps or session recording.
  • No advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.
  • No selling, renting or trading your information, ever.

If you are on the network map

The network page lists people I work with: their name, role, employer, links and the skills they chose. Nobody is published without agreeing first, and an email address is only shown if that person asked for it to be. Want a change, or want to be removed? Email me and it is done the same day, no reason needed.

Who else touches it

  • Resend delivers the emails you ask for (confirmations, the newsletter).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from people, not bots.
  • Checkout providers. When you buy something, you leave this site for the store the product links to (for example DriveThruCards, Amazon or Stripe), and their privacy policy applies there. No payment details ever reach this site.

Cookies

Only essential ones: a session cookie that makes forms work, a security token that stops other sites from submitting forms as you, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. Analytics would only ever load with your explicit consent, and none runs today.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from all lists. To see, correct or delete anything I hold about you, email [email protected] and I'll handle it personally.
